The Procurement Department is responsible for purchasing the best quality products at the lowest possible price and delivering those products to the city department in the shortest possible time.

The Procurement Department is also responsible for the enforcement of the Uniform Procurement Act, which establishes uniform procedures for local governments when contracting for supplies, equipment, services and real property.

Our focus is to provide efficient procurement guidance and compliance to all city departments in a timely manner while working towards an increased centralized purchasing function.
