Starts: 9:00 AM
Ends: 4:00 PM
HONOR FAMILY, COUNTRY & COMMUNITY: BUY A WAR MEMORIAL BRICK Brockton's greatest tribute to veterans is the War Memorial Building, the West Elm Street hall that honors the sacrifices of soldiers and sailors. The 1929 edifice is undergoing much-needed restoration, including the installation of an elevator for handicapped access. A Memorial Walkway of personalized, commemorative bricks will constitute a new, proud entrance to our city treasure. Purchase a personally inscribed brick to honor a loved one or to show your family's or community's groups patriotic spirit. Your gift will be a lasting reminder and a wonderful way to say thank you to those who defend freedom. For more information please call: Dr. Robert Haglund at 508-588-1400 or Mayor Harrington's office at 508-580-7123. You may download an order form at www.brocktonwarmemorial.com Each purchase comes with a Certificate of Appreciation, suitable for framing, to give as a gift to your loved one.
